Introduction: ClieMail is the mail software considered very well. I have used ClieMail regularly for a long period of time. However, filter ability is poor. I thought whether filter ability would be improvable. The filter ability of ClieMail has the following restrictions.
I analyzed the contents of this data file. Consequently, the restriction matter described previously was a problem inside ClieMail to the last, and when registering the record forcibly to the data file, it discovered that filter ability could be strengthened. Operation: Screen layout The data of a filter is a spreadsheet and has become one line per one record.  Item of row Effective/invalid: It will become effective if it checks. Filter name: Enter a name for the filter. (Less than 20 characters) Header: Specify a trigger for the filter based on text in the e-mailfs To, Subject, From, or CC fields. ...next strings: Contains next strings. / Contains no next strings. Strings: Specify a trigger for the filter based on text in the body of the e-mail. (Less than 30 characters) Receive: Specify whether the filtered e-mail is to be received or refused. Move to: Specify the category to which the filtered e-mail is to be moved. Sorting function If a title of row is clicked, a record will be sorted. New creation of a record Please add to the lower part of a spreadsheet, and a blank line. (If it is a blank line, added anywhere.) Delete of a record Please specify the range to delete by the [Shift] + cursor key. In the state where it indicated by reversal, if the [Shift] + [Del] key is pushed, a record will be deleted.  Copy of a record The range to copy like the above is specified. In the state where it indicated by reversal, if the [Ctrl] + [C] key is pushed, a record will be copied. Paste of a record After copying in the above-mentioned procedure, cursor is moved to a pasting place. if the [Shift] + [Ins] key is pushed, a record will be pasted. A setup of a category The following category screens are displayed with a [Help(H)] - [Setup(S)] menu. When you have added the category for mail distribution, please register the same category name as the ClieMail side on this screen.  Send to Clie Please perform [File(F)] - [Send To Clie(C)] menu, if registration of a filter finishes. The installation tool screen of PalmDisktop is called.
